Brian Wallace, founding director of Red Gate Gallery, is pleased to announce the return of the gallery’s 20thAnniversary Exhibition – Two Generations of Contemporary Chinese Art.

The show, which has toured Shanghai, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, features the iconic works of its senior artists, as well as a younger generation of artists – hence the concept of Two Generations.

In all, 27 artists are represented with painting, photography, sculpture, video, printmaking, mixed media  and installation presenting a lively cross-section of the Chinese art scene.

Artists showing are: Chen Chen, Chen Ke, Chen Qingqing, Chen Yufei, Guan Wei, Han Qing, Hang Chunhui, He Zubin, island6, Jiang Weitao, Kong Liang, Li Gang, Li Xiang, Liu Qinghe, Lv Peng, Shi Zhongying, Song Ying, Su Xinping, Tan Ping, Wang Lifeng, Wang Yuping, Xie Fujin, Xie Guoping, Zheng Xuewu, Zhou Jirong, Zhu Peihong, Zhou Jun and Zhu Yu. 

The show runs to end December 2012.
