chengong-bigtitle

Chengong was meant to be a major economic and university center. Within a few years become one of the largest ghost town in Asia, despite the market of Luosiwan, recently moved into the city.

Chenggong is a satellite city located just south of Kunming, along the shores of Dianchi Lake. Construction started in 2003. Skyscrapers, luxury villas, huge residential complexes and even a modern stadium, kindergartens and shopping malls built in the city are rapidly turning into a bleak scenario.

You can judge how rich some people are, not by how much they own, not by how much they spend, but by how much they don't mind wasting. With that measurement, you can tell the Chinese government is really rich, filthy rich.
